![]() Suppose we have an array of numbers, and we want to remove the first three elements from the array. The function modifies the input array in place, which means that the original array is changed by the operation. If the $replacement parameter is not specified, no elements are inserted, and the function simply removes the specified elements. Splice array method provides three parameters and different parameters to implement different methods to change the original array 1. The replacement elements can be of any data type, including arrays. If the $replacement parameter is specified, the function inserts the replacement elements in place of the removed elements. The removed elements are returned as an array. If no length is specified, all elements from the offset to the end of the array will be removed. The array_splice function operates on the input array, starting at the specified offset, and removes the specified number of elements. If not specified, no elements will be inserted $replacement (optional): The elements to be inserted in place of the removed elements. If not specified, all elements from the $offset to the end of the array will be removed $length (optional): The number of elements to remove.$offset: The index at which to start the operation.$input: The input array that will be modified.PHP Array array_change_key_case() array_chunk() array_column() array_combine() array_count_values() array_diff() array_diff_assoc() array_diff_key() array_diff_uassoc() array_diff_ukey() array_fill() array_fill_keys() array_filter() array_flip() array_intersect() array_intersect_assoc() array_intersect_key() array_intersect_uassoc() array_intersect_ukey() array_key_exists() array_keys() array_map() array_merge() array_merge_recursive() array_pad() array_pop() array_product() array_push() array_rand() array_reduce() array_replace() array_replace_recursive() array_reverse() array_search() array_shift() array_slice() array_splice() array_sum() array_udiff() array_udiff_assoc() array_udiff_uassoc() array_uintersect() array_uintersect_assoc() array_uintersect_uassoc() array_unique() array_unshift() array_values() array_walk() array_walk_recursive() arsort() asort() compact() PHP JSON PHP Math PHP RegEx PHP StringĪrray_splice( array & $input, int $offset, ? int $length = null, mixed $replacement = ).PHP XML Parsers PHP SimpleXML Parser PHP SimpleXML - Load MySQL Database MySQL Connect MySQL Create DB MySQL Create Table MySQL Insert Data MySQL Get Last ID MySQL Insert Multiple MySQL Prepared MySQL Select Data MySQL Where MySQL Order By MySQL Delete Data MySQL Update Data MySQL Limit Data PHP What is OOP PHP Classes/Objects PHP Constructor PHP Destructor PHP Access Modifiers PHP Inheritance PHP Constants PHP Abstract Classes PHP Interfaces PHP Traits PHP Static Methods PHP Static Properties PHP Namespaces PHP Iterables PHP Date and Time PHP File Handling PHP File Open/Read PHP File Create/Write PHP File Upload PHP Cookies PHP Sessions PHP Filters PHP Filters Advanced PHP Callback Functions PHP JSON PHP Exceptions PHP Form Handling PHP Form Validation PHP Form Required PHP Form URL/E-mail PHP Form Complete Slicing an array requires O(n) time and O(n) space to store the elements, where n is the number of elements in the resultant array.PHP Intro PHP Install PHP Syntax PHP Comments PHP Variables PHP Echo / Print PHP Data Types PHP Strings PHP Numbers PHP Math PHP Constants PHP Operators PHP If.Else.Elseif PHP Switch PHP Loops PHP Functions PHP Arrays PHP Superglobals PHP RegEx It replicates the array’s stated range to a newly formed array (slice array) and returns the newly produced array with the original array’s specified range.
